Rock, Paper, Upgrade is a rogue-like take on Rock, Paper, Scissors inspired by Balatro. Play increasingly difficult rounds of Rock, Paper, Scissors, and select upgrades to make your chances of winning just the more likely! Try to get as far as you can without losing!
I designed and programmed the entire game, using free-to-use art assets as part of my work.
From this game, I learned just how difficult balancing a game around chance is. You need to make the chance matter, but make it seem fair for the player.
